Need recommendation for hand trailer dolly

My old harbor freight hand dolly that I need to move my boat around has given up.

I need a recommendation for a replacement.  Don't want another HF but I also don't need an expensive one.  I only use it for pulling and pushing my boat in and out of the garage a short distance.  I have a slight incline into the garage, so the push factor is important. Not sever, but i need to be able to have the handle at a height to get a good straight push.

I looked at this one: DOLLY

But with the third wheel I don't think I can get the push leverage I need.

Anyone have a recommendation on a well built dolly they really like?

Having a powered one is very nice, but they come at a cost, but this Electric trailer dolly is not to expensive. There are a lot of different electric ones out there such as this electric dolly.
The HF one I have has lasted me a few years and I just replace the ball with a 2" ball and had to replace one wheel at a cost of $4., it hasn't given up on me when I needed to move my jet ski trailers around in my yard or my boat or trailer on the street.

I put a front hitch on my tow vehicle that made a huge difference in moving the boat around the yard. Also no more sore neck trying to put the boat where you want it instead of backing.

I have the three wheel model hand dolly that you posted and it works great but is limited to the amount of weight being moved....slope.....etc.  I use it mainly to move my utility trailer around in the shop.  Like @Hood Canal posted, I have a front 2 in receiver on my truck for maneuvering in super tight spots. It's frame mounted.  It also serves as a platform for a winch or snowplow attachment. Maybe something to think about.

Wolf I think I still have one of those front end hitches like Hunter has, brand new, but it fits on a 2008 F-150. If you want it I'll give it to you, but it would need to be shipped up there unless the Arima transport team is heading to the PNW from So. California.

Thanks for the input and the offer! Once again I'm awestruck with the amount of just damn good people on this site!

Unfortunately a front hitch won't work in my case because I have a postage patch of ground in which to maneuver the truck and the boat.  There's no way possible to unhitch the boat from towing and turn the truck around to hitch the front.  I don't even have enough room to try and maneuver to back the boat into the garage.  That's why I unhitch and then turn and push it in.

Sounds like an expensive electric trailer dolly is going to be your best bet if you want to get away from a manual dolly, which I don't blame ya. I've seen electric trailer dollies pop up on Offer Up, Craigslist, and FBMP a few times for a good prices, keep an eye out for one.

Probably a long drive to Oregon, but here's a nice one for $350 in Mapleton. You can tow your boat down there and go fishing out of Florance.

You might consider a Trailer Valet (hand-crank / drill-powered).   Yes, they're pricey, but after 5 years I don't regret spending the $.   My boat/trailer is 3800# and ~ 350# tongue load.   I have to move it from the driveway, across some grass, and then between a sidewalk and a retaining wall.   Anything manual just wouldn't work.   The other advantage is that it removes from the trailer with just a lock pin, so the only time it's there is when I'm moving the trailer at home.   I take it along inside my tow rig - just in case - but at home I plug it in, move the boat, jack it up, support the tongue with a jack stand, remove it and store in the garage.    It's never around salt water or out in the weather, easy to handcrank, never needs charging.   You can see the mount on the trailer tongue, opposite the spare tire in the image below.       Currently ~$400, $350 for a refurb from Trailer Valet.
I've never had a trailer jack that worked well for more than 5 years - even the nice Fulton F2 aluminum ones @ $275, and one of those got stolen off my trailer at the ramp.

I bought a used "Power Caster" for $500 several years ago. It is still working great. It has been a huge help jockeying my boat into it's parking place. The one I own is 120 volt.

They are pretty expensine new, but "Made in America" and a family owned business.

I remember when I bought my SC16 and the PO gave me one, it was nice.

My dad has a Park-it 360 power dolly he wants to sell. If interested, I'll get more details. Very little use. He lives in Auburn, WA. I live near Tumwater, I could easily get it down here.

Thanks, that's a generous offer.  Those electric Park-its are amazing but for my boat and situation I think it's too much dolly and kinda over my budget.  But thank you for the offer.  If things were different I would jump on it.

Those are nice because they have brakes. My Power Caster has no brakes and can go out-of-control on a slope.

I don't think this one "Has" brakes, but rather it can control electric trailer brakes if the trailer is so equipped.
