Sorry for the guys that are sick of Prop threads but here goes.

I'd like to buy a stainless prop and as soon as I convince myself which one to buy I start rethinking things.

I am running a 1991 Mercury 75HP 2 stroke rpm specs below.
RPM Information: 4750-5250

I currently have 2 aluminum props and here are my numbers.

3 blade came with the boat 13 1/4x17 seems to feel pretty good but my rpms are low at WOT. (so I feel I am under preforming)
I get 4400 at WOT and 28 mph flat salt water

4 blade 13.4 x15 runs at 5400 WOT and will do 26 mph flat salt water

I would like to be at 5000 WOT and above 30 mph with a 3 blade stainless. Is this doable?

I am thinking about this one Mercury Vengeance 13.125 x 16P.

Then I found this thing on Amazon and it's 1/2 the price.

Thoughts? and Thanks!

I increasingly am seeing knock-off made in China propellers on Amazon I have never heard of. I have yet to hear any success stories by the few I know who have bought them.

I would not gamble on a TUNORD

The Mercury Vengeance is a fine choice for your boat/motor, but you'll probably want the 15" pitch version, not the 16"

The small tube Vengeance (also sold as the Quickdilver Silverado) is know for yielding near zero, or even slightly negative calculated propeller slip, so you have to factor that into your choice.

I think 30 MPH is doable for 75 HP on a 16' Sea Explorer, but it may take more than just a good prop. Have you scrutinized the motor mounting height? If yours is like most Arimas, the motor is too low, adding drag and slowing the boat down.

My first choice of prop for you would be a 14" x 15" Turbo Pontoon, but finding one can be challenging. I do have one you can borrow for testing if you like. You would need to drive to Seattle to grab it though.
