Welcome to the largest gathering of Arima boat owners anywhere. We are a forum based gathering of Arima Boat enthusiasts that like to pleasure cruise, fish, camp, and hunt. While Arimas are centered in the PNW, we have members across the globe. It is 3/4's water after all. Lurk, join up, and post about your Arima upgrades, family trips, and of course, your fishing exploits. Just remember to add photos whenever possible.

OK off-shore fisher folks- let's try this again.

Many have access to clean lead and some have molds etc.  Let's see if we can't get a place and day to get together.  Past events have always been a great time to meet Arima owners and share stories and plans.

   It's a great meet-up with a bunch of entertaining crazies, PLUS a mini-swap meet.  Let's do this!

I don't have a huge amount of lead, but I do have some.  My bigger problem is that I'm a bit farther north than most.  Driving 2+ hours (or more) just isn't in the cards for me.

But, if something is happening "in my neck of the woods", count me in!   :beerchug:

YES!!!  :flagwave:

I'm IN

I've 3 molds- 2 & 3# cod weights and pyramid bottom sinker.  Some eyes for heavy DR weights, bronze cotter pins and treble hooks for copper pipe jig, about 30# lead,  A large pan to melt lead, MId size melting pot and ladel,  2 burner propane stove.

Along with leather gloves and vest, eye protection, breathing protection and SAFETY attitude.

POst what you have to bring/ share.  NO wet lead- if it's not clean and dry don't bring it.  BEtter yet do a cleaning melt at home Slowly-  Lead splashes can mess you up.

NEED:  Large melting pot and ladle.  cardboard and/ or thin wood sheets to catch drips.  SAFETY gear and ATTITUDE!!  More burners, Propane tanks.  LEAD and MOLDS with eyes, hooks etc

This will be a Great time to meet some Arima folks, share the work and stories.  COst will be prorated by what you use - what you donate.

The march 2022 lead pour thread has a lot of info on what we may have and what is needed. Fishbio had a nice collection of molds, hooks and eyes if I remember correctly. I will have clean lead and a 15lb downrigger finned mold and eyes. Also a canopy and a fan for ventilation. Tables, chairs, cooling board for product.
Who (how many) can make it?  Rifleman

2Steelhead

I would definitely like to attend. I can bring propane tanks or whatever is needed. Saturday the 4th of May, correct?

The last Lead Pour gathering was on the bank of Hood Canal hosted by Joe, Crackerbox.  Beautiful spot, nice gathering.

We need molds-  If you can't attend would you loan them out?

So far Greg and 2steelhead have mentioned that they are interested in this Saturday's pour. I have a finned mold and eyes. will set up a canopy to keep any rain drops out of the lead and have a cooling board.
Anybody else? Let me know so I can give parking instructions if needed.

Batsquatch

I don't need any lead poured however would you mind if I showed up, met some of you (finallY), and possibly bring some fishing tackle for a swap-meet like event?  With retirement and relocation in my semi-near future, my boating will temporarily come to an end.  My fishing tackle needs will change drastically so I'm sure that I have saltwater gear that someone may be interested in.
In any case, I'd like to drop by and say hi.  I'll PM for the address.
Thanks,
Jeff
