Ban's
« on: April 23, 2015, 08:15:11 AM »
When traveling, you may find yourself banned from the site in certain parts of the world.  This has nothing to do with your account.  You are probably trying to access the site from an area with a general ban in place.

For example:  We have had thousands of attempts to break into the site from China based IP addresses.  Rather than deal with each individual attempt, we have simply banned all the IP's with that basic address.

If this happens to you. no need to worry, you are simply traveling in one of those zones, Russia, China, Lithuania, Romania, Indonesia, the list goes on...

You should still be able to view the site as a guest.

When you return home, clear your computer's cache (if like me, there will be no 'cash' to clear so you won't be confused which one to clear) and things should return to normal and you will have a bunch of posts to read.

I'm an airline pilot, and can tell you that your "ban" is working!  It's always difficult to get on in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Dubai, Mumbai, and sometimes Cologne.  Not complaining, I have a VPN so it's generally not a problem, just letting you know that your ban works.
