Yesterday the wife and I celebrated our 42nd Anniversary.  Instead of going out we decided to have a special dinner in.
She didn't want to go out so we threw something together.  Here's what came out.

That's Crab Spaghetti (we didn't have any Fettuccine noodles left) made with fresh caught Winter Dungies, homemade White Sauce with fresh Roasted Russian Spicy Garlic, Sage, Cilantro, a little finely chopped Parsely, and some Green Onions all fresh from my garden.
We added a bottle of Pinio Grecio wine that a coworkers girlfriend had made and a little candlelight.

Very nice dinner without interruptions with the girl of my dreams.
Thank you Greenbank for the chance to get some crab!

That meal looks amazing but not nearly as amazing as the 42 years together.  Congratulations and here's hoping there are many more to come.

SHE is a keeper...and yes...that meal was special!
The sauce is from my grandmother's secret recipe book.
It is "to die for".
But I do not make it very often.

Russ...no worries...I did all that thinking without beer or fireball.  But it was a strain on the brain
I would appreciate your not giving me such a workout in the future

Once again thank you all for your kind words.

Congrats Terry.
We are on year 36.  We will hit 42 in six.

The meal looks great.  That's the only major flaw of my wife.  She will not touch any type of seafood except a tuna sandwich...     But I'm not trading her in.

From what I've read NOTHING can beat a tuna sandwich made with fresh tuna...so she just might have a point kim! :food:
