I just don't fish that deep.  Much less worry.  Catch a rockfish.....it goes in the soup.   :biggrin:

Catch one at 100' ...you let them go, and they swim back down.   :beerchug:

Unless they are suffering from Barotrauma (In people its called the bends).  Then you have to provide a mechanism to get them back to the deep pressures before releasing. 

Lots of solutions to that one.  Check around on the net.  ODFW was handing out SeaQualizers at the Saltwater Sportsman Show in March.  They are the best system in my opinion.  But most of the others will work too.
