90 hp 4 stroke on. 19 ft ?

I would agree with SFF and Wedocq comments.  If it runs good and gets you out there why not.  You get enjoy a nice boat and being on the water.  That's a big plus right there.

I had a F100 on my 19 and would have happily replaced it with another, 'cept they don't make them anymore so I went with the 115.  IMHO 90 would be just fine if propped correctly.  My 115 has a 4 blade 15" prop and only runs 34-35, so the 90 mentioned sounds ok.

33-34mph ? that's terrible ! My 17 SR with a f100 goes 45mph ! Ok, that's on the gps. The speedo says 34 .

Huh? I am confused.  :shrug9: I have always found the GPS to be accurate and the speedo way off.

Check the units on the gps. 45 km/h ==> 28 m/h

I never trust the speedo. When it  does work, it bounces so much that it is as much a guess as a measurement.
