Belinda, Please send me a boat with the new logos to test market in Canada .  :yeahthat:

I will gather opinions on the water and forward them to you.. probably a 19 Sea Ranger would be best so that people don't confuse it with my current 17.

Thanks in advance.

...  I'd remove the bar then bring the barb of the hook over more to make an "A"

This decal is 17" long vs 37" for the Arima with wave as it is now.  Maybe some of you guys will like it to replace the old simple arima logo.  Ah, who am I kidding?  Anyway, we will all get used to this one too. Change is normal and I think it stands out as NEW which is a renewal of the brand.

Belinda, we couldn't get consensus on the color of decals. Don't expect these old codgers to like the new Arima logo. I think the folks that buy new Arimas will like them.

My '97 decals are still the skinny red ones and looking pretty beat up.  Perhaps I should up-grade to the latest 'old' style before they are gone.  Belinda, what do you guys have that will be readily visible against a blue background?

The new logo will look great on the new boats.

Especially a 21' Ranger with the new pilot house and a blue gelcoat job.

If you would like to send one down to Oregon, I'd be happy to convene focus groups at various boat ramps around the state, and among Tuna! fishers 40 miles off shore, to gauge feedback among potential buyers.  Heck, I'd even do it for free!

You guys are crazy

Amazingly, Defiance's owners also have a print/decal shop.  I bet for not too bad a price I could get the decals in a lighter color for the colored hulls.  Figure out a scheme, not a whole new decal cuz we will have to keep with one of the designs we have, but I bet we could do a color substitution.  Think it over guys and if you could come to some sort of consensus, I could order up a few sets especially for you.  I would need to have a count as I do not have the facilities to store decals of every size color and model since we have 4 boat brands, with multiple models of each, there but if it was an in and out job, I could make it happen, I bet.  I would have to run it by Bo but so far he has been so amenable to me helping out the steadfast Arima fan base!

The new "old" Arima logo is on the arimaboats.com store.  Work with that one if you can even come to a concenses on that.  Those of you who do not like the wave can just cut it away and mount the standard old style Arima only.

I am actually getting more attached to the new logo as time goes on. At first it seems so "un-Arima" but I think it is kind of edgy.

If I upgrade to the new logo I will probably slice and dice it up with the wave as the first letter and the balance of the word set a little higher so the wave falls into and under the R.  That would have a reasonable level of coolness and still be respectful to the brand.
