News:

Welcome to the largest gathering of ARIMA boat owners anywhere. We are a forum based gathering of Arima Boat enthusiasts that like to pleasure cruise, fish, camp, and hunt. While Arimas are centered in the PNW, we have members across the globe. It is 3/4's water after all. Lurk, join up, and post about your Arima upgrades, family trips, and of course, your fishing exploits. Just remember to add photos whenever possible.

While I'm not sure I agree that pics are the reason for the site I do enjoy them. With that in mind I'll play along, here are a few pics from this year:

If I remember right this was Easter Day:

Shad fishing with my Dad and brother:

bbq on the river:

Enjoying the heat on 7/1:

My kids and nephew saw this dune so we had to stop and climb it. I beat the to the top but they beat me back down!

Having a great summer so far!

Just found this on my wife's phone. The kids and I spent Monday playing on the river while she worked. To somewhat make it up to her we met her down town after she got off and bought her dinner. Since she normally carpools she had no choice but to catch a ride home with us. Has to beat sitting in traffic right?

Way to make it work.  Boy those kids are growing.

Looks like you guys are really getting a lot of family time on the boat.  Glad it is working out for you.

The ladder is obviously getting good use.  Nice addition.

SF and I noticed your kicker seems to have disappeared in the latest photos.  What's up?

The ladder was a fisherman's supply sale item and only meant to be temporary until I find something permanent. I'm really digging Xplorz solution!

I took the kicker off because we had an estate sale at our place for my father in law and I didn't want people knowing it was there.

Yeah the kids are growing, they're starting to eat me out of house and home!

Sea Bear

Here's a picture of Sea Bear.  This boat is a 1981 equipped with a 1984 Evinrude 70 & a 9.5 Evinrude kicker.  It may be old, but it is still solid.

Caston, that's a gorgeous beach... above or below Kalama?

These were all above Kalama, there is a whole group of islands upriver from Vancouver we play in. The beach we had the BBQ on is my favorite. It's between two islands with very little river traffic. Nice sandy bottom that stays shallow for 100' out and has far less current than most areas.

SeaBear:  Although I'm a little late in seeing your addition to the Arima album, it's rewarding to see something as "veteran" (not old) as an 81' still doing her stuff and staying up with the younger versions of a truly timeless and long lasting hull.

Sea Bear

Thank you, Chuck.  That hull and floor is hard as a rock.  The transom is still great. It has surely been used... lots of wear on the finish.  Kind of glad, since we don't like wiping our feet when we're bumming around.  I got the boat from my cousin before he passed away.  It had been garaged for years.  Being stored indoors helps a lot to keep an "old" boat going.

I don't think ladies like to be referred to as "semi-clean".  :hoboy:

Welcome aboard Scaletech. Lots of good info here and as I'm sure you've read (hence the pictures) no pics, didn't happen.

1st pic: Nice boat  .

2nd pic: Ouch  :bigshock: ! Damage the hub or is it just going to be a bearing job?
