That looks like a great PNW boat and going to be a super fish catcher.

Thanks GregE, It is an 84' Sea Explorer. She has a few marks here and there. But overall a great little SE for being 35 years old. So yes "a barn find."

Came with two Cannon elect down riggers. A Humming bird sounder. Two pedestal seats.

Has a Merc 70 hp two stroke that looks good. We are gonna find out more about it soon. I am betting it has the positive trifecta. Good comp, good spark and a good lower unit.

I cannot do all the upgrades I would like to. At least not soon. My shop will check the motor out and do a couple of minor things. Then I will put a long term plan together.

At this point I have a thought about getting it over on the coast  in someones hands to do some work on it in exchange for exclusive rights to fish it  ??? It would need to be the right person and situation.

Pretty excited to land this little gem. As you have all said. A great little two or possible three person set up.

Thanks for posting the pix and  your help Greg. AG

Nice boat. I like the long tongue trailers for launching.

Hey guys;  Look at the picture of Mega's Sea Hunter.  Ever notice how high the sides are?  I'd be willing to bet the dimension from the chine to the gunwale is just about the same as the 16's........maybe even the 17's.   Arima's literature says my 16 SC is only 2" higher than the Hunter.  I'm assuming that measurement is from the keel to the top of the windshield??

Yat
Dear Arima:  Please "square-off" the Hunter transom.  Make it like my old 77 Silverline.  Thank you.  Oh yeah...please hurry; I'm getting old.

It's not very often that the Pacific Ocean gets like this and I was lucky to be able to get out to fish. I call this Serenity.

Just south of Bandon, OR last Friday.
