Dramatic lighting on the Fraser. 2015 SR19 w/Suzuki 140

Awesome pic! It sure doesn't look like a 19'er. I would have put money on 21! So lets talk about your user name. Please explain, because liquiddecent screams sinking boat to me.

They were fun, but would be better for younger, more flexible people.  Small cuddys are not our friend- we slept in the SE but it's tough to move around with the lower ceiling.

New tow rig!  The ol '03 f150 is getting up in miles (220K) so I thought I'd keep my eyes peeled for something newer.  Found this 2010 F150 up in BC.  The owner was looking for a US buyer with a mind to do some currency arbitrage.  Pretty smart, and it worked out well for both of us.  I got a really good deal.  I am hoping not TOO much of a good deal though.

It's got a 5.4L V8 which is a big improvement over my 4.2L V6.  Plus, it's got 4WD.  Tried it out.  It works.  Having a vehicle with a backseat is also a big plus.

Getting it over the border was only a minor hassle. Only difference in the vehicle itself is that the kmH are the outside numbers on the speedometer.  Might actually be a good thing!

Seems OK so far, but I'm sure it's a lemon.  Just like the trailer.

Here's riggles interacting with his friend popeye the seal.  He just loves popeye!

I think that's going to work out great for you, nice truck. With Km's on the speedo you are all set for coming up and fishing on the island!

Thanks, H-T. It is a lot of boat for the trailer. On our way home the other night I took the opportunity to stop at the scales just south of Wilsonville on I-5 and weigh it. No gear in it to speak of but almost full tank of gas, and not much tongue weight. 3600lbs. Trailer cap at 3750 combined. So I'm right on the border. Will have to keep a vigilant eye on the bearings and tires.

I tried to get talk my girls into stopping at Horse Fly lake last summer on our way though. They said there was a good chance it was named after the insect in swarms and wanted to have nothing to do with it. Boat looks right at home on that big lake Rick.

Ian - After heavy rain, issue last week was not horseflies, but rather mosquitoes and no-seeums.  I anchored the boat our in front of the provincial campsite, using my newly acquired anchor buddy.  Had to wade out in 52 degree water to pull boat to shore to let dog and wife board and I guess I washed off some of the insect spray.

It is an absolutely beautiful lake with the snow capped Cariboo mountains in the distance.

Next time I'm just going to point in the opposite direction of the highway sign, say look it a eagle! Then turn and just drive there. Still need to visit Quesnel Lake as well, your Hunter would be very at home there too. I love BC we have it all!

I will add my 92 SC17 to the list. This was at Moutcha Bay right by the resort on August 18, 2016. I doubt if I will ever own another boat I like as much as this Arima. (I am the one with the net! I try to always have my guests catch a big fish) This one was 20LBS.
