Welcome to the largest gathering of ARIMA boat owners anywhere. We are a forum based gathering of Arima Boat enthusiasts that like to pleasure cruise, fish, camp, and hunt. While Arimas are centered in the PNW, we have members across the globe. It is 3/4's water after all. Lurk, join up, and post about your Arima upgrades, family trips, and of course, your fishing exploits. Just remember to add photos whenever possible.

Just checking out the member's map again Danno. What happened to the northeast and Arima dealers? Come on I know there isn't many of os Arima owners over here... but with some representation we might get more. There are 2 dealers in MA and 1 each in VT, CT and NY, where are the pins?

I am sure you are working on it... but just a friendly reminder... in case. Also I feel all alone.

I know, I know. I've been real busy lately with family stuff (25th wedding aniversary, kid's solo music competition, etc) and springer salmon fishing. I need to get those guys on the map. I'm also hoping to talk with Don so that I can make sure the companies I put on the map are up to date.

Woo hoo!

All of the Arima Dealers noted on the Arima web site are now mapped and we have a lot of members that have their locality mapped as well.

I know there's a lot of lurking members on this site. They have accounts but don't post much which is cool. Even if you don't post, drop a pin with an area near you home or favorite fishing spot or boat launch. It's time to fill up the map!

Looks like I'm the first to drop a pin in Alaska. I dropped it at Whittier harbor, since that's where I launch. Of course, that's about 100 road miles from my house...

All

We have more than 330 members.  Many have recently joined us.  I took a look at our member map and find it is way short of 300 member location indicators.

So, let me encourage all the members to get themselves 'on the map' so to speak.  At least to the town where you live.  If it looks too crowded in your area, simply zoom in.

Many of us find having a member located on the map assists us in making meaningful responses to questions and often results in folks close to each other offering to come over to help out.

We now number about 400.  For those who wish to do so, putting yourself on the map, so to speak, helps others near you  to connect.

We recommend you not pin your actual location, just someplace a mile or so away, local launch, favorite restaurant or watering hole, church... whatever

In case some of the new folks have missed this:  Please pin your approximate location on the map (click on members map in the blue bar at the top of the page) so we have a general idea where you are located.  As noted above, we do not recommend you pin your exact house location for obvious reasons.  Within a couple of miles or so is really helpful when discussing some things.

Every once in a while we need to remind members to put themselves on the map.

Don't put the pin on your house,  just the community, your favorite launch something to let us know the general area where you are.

It really helps when offers of fishing, getting together, and the like are being discussed.

Please take the time to put your pin on the members map  (click on 'members map' found in the bar across the top of the forum page).
