Older Yamaha Tach guage hook up question.
« on: August 30, 2012, 12:47:34 PM »
I have an older Yamaha Digital Tach guage for my Yamaha 115 two stroke.

It has two seperate plastic molex type connectors coming out the back. With the molex connectors are three wires. A green, yellow and black.

Coming out a seperate location on the back of the guage are two wires. A blue and a black.

I am looking for a wiring diagram or someone who knows where these wires go. I have looked and not found anything online that helps me to this point.

Thanks.

I can't help with the wiring... I'd see if you can find a Yamaha shop manual for it off Ebay.

I can't seem to paste a website that has the info you need but it's in iboats.com under help with wiring a yamaha digital gage to the motor. It covers 1994 and up. hope this helps.
