19' Chaser/Ranger Skip Top Interchangeability

I have a 2001 19' Sea Chaser and came across a skip top and curtains for sale from a 1997 19' Sea Ranger.  Is the skip top and curtains the same? Interchangeable between these two models?  Thanks!

The curtain won't fit but I think that if the frame of the skip top bolts to the horizontal surface of the Arima, you should be ok.

For future reference for anyone potentially asking this same question. 

I contacted Chris at Defiance Marine.  He checked with the factory and informed me that the Skip Top will NOT be interchangeable between models.  I'd assume you could modify it to fit correctly, but it not a direct swap.

You'd be much better off having a new frame made than trying to modify - from my understanding the SR frame will be short by a few inches. If it were long, maybe, but short if another thing altogether.

I would think only the feet would need to modified for different mounting angles.
Just my guess though.

I noted horizontal surface but I meant the gunwale or drainage channel up front. If it bolts to the cuddy ceiling, the SR and SC will be different. So my mistake.

My experience on this topic is back a few years ago but it should still apply today. I had Arima make my skip tower for my 17' Sea Chaser, after a few years with that boat I had the skip tower moved over to a 19 Sea Chaser. A few years after that I bought a 21 Ranger and I tried to move the skip tower again......no luck!  I was able to use the clam shell but I had to have the mounts built again for the Sea Ranger.
