Anyone know the gross tonnage for an arima sea ranger 19 with soft top?

'96 SR19 Hardtop, Honda BF115, 2 GP27 batteries, refrig, spares+tools, normal cruising gear, full fuel = 3050#  (Hardtop + bulkhead is approx. 325#)   There is NO fishing gear, bait, cooler, riggers, kicker/bracket.  Softop/frame + kicker/bracket/tank probably equal to weight of hardtop.  Rigged to fish, your 19 is likely 3300 +/-.  Arima published weights for new boats always seem to be low.
Truck scale is only way to know for sure.  Weigh the whole rig on the trailer (including tongue weight), then launch the boat and weigh the empty trailer.

and 19 other boats (I think, lost count)

Are you really looking for the gross tonnage? Or are you looking for the weight of the vessel?

Gross tonnage is a calculated number, not directly measured like weight would be. And only the hull matters, not any part of the superstructure.

Here's a link if you really want to calculate the gross tonnage.

GRT is tough to measure for small boat.
It will be roughly 2.

Are you considering Documenting your boat?
Or any other reason you need Gross Tonnage?

Looking for gross tonnage. Not for documentation- for comparison. Trying to win an argument without doing the actual measurements & math!! I know the actual weight.

Shape of Arima below deck is somewhat hard to measure exactly.
100 cubic feet is 1 GRT.

Just spitballing,   GRT should be between 1.5 and 2.
Not much.
