Bean Counter June 19
« on: June 09, 2021, 11:01:38 AM »
Unless the great plans of mice and men fail (stay tuned)  Jimmie (BeanCounter) will be visiting for a few days next week.  Perhaps we can get together to tell each other great lies and real fish stories at a BBQ at my place Saturday, June 19, near Oregon City (the one in Oregon, not California)??

This would be a joint effort pot luck style BBQ where everybody brings something.  You want beer, soda, something else    -- bring it.  We have plenty of water and ice.  I will have the Traeger going with some good sausage.  We will need potato salad, chips, baked beans, your specialty BBQ dish....  The list goes on.

We will start around 1:30 PDT.  If you would like to join us,     please PM me, letting me know what you plan to bring, and I will send my address in response.

Should be a good time.

Russ I will endeavor to be there on the 19th with a 19' and will have refreshments for the 19th hole. I will pick up a case of beer in my travels and whatever else I may stumble on.
Looking forward to seeing any and all.

Which 19' Jimmie- SR or SC??  time to decide although my buddy already found a nice one.

I'll check the schedule and try to be there-  will fill in with whatever seems lacking at a later date.

Jimmie says he will likely arrive sometime Wednesday, so Saturday is on for sure.  If you wish to join us, please let me know by Thrusday night so we can ensure enough refreshments are in place.

Thank you

Russ I have a case of Coronas riding with me. Unopened no cooler here so they should make it to your house.

Probably no wisdom Greg but cold beer, food and fish tales also known by others as lies will be in abundance. Maybe I will see you another year. Guess i have to make it up to Seattle/Neah or something next trip.

Guess it really happened Greg had to go and post the ugly evidence. Had a great time seeing you guys. Russ and his beautiful bride are great hosts. Hope to do another trip maybe late Aug or early Sept.
Gotta thin out my driveway some more.

Sorry I was not able to make it, and sorry I missed you this time around Jimmy!

I'm in the process of getting concrete poured for a slab in my barn, and was scheduled to have two contractors come by and give me bids on Saturday (it's really hard to get contractors out here in Columbia County).  Of course one of them stood me up.

Sorry I missed you Steve maybe next time. Back at the home dock this morning. Tide is up so I need to get the legend in the water. When the wind lays down go looking for spanish mackerel, speckled trout and redfish.
