Dev, [MYIMAGES] pulls up any image you have uploaded regardless of whether you put them in your personal gallery or in the general gallery. Thus, we can't see your images via the [MYIMAGES] button as that only brings up the user's pictures and no one else's.

In order for us to see your images easily, we have to click on [GALLERY] and then use the [SEARCH] function; using your name in the "Posted By" box.

Everyone has the ability to create their own personal gallery just by clicking on [MYGALLERY] and adding categories and photos.

croaker stroker

Danno,

I have noticed in the past that a lot of us are posting pictures like Dev. Many of the "personal galleries" are empty.

I did not think of using that search function that you suggested. Thanks for pointing that out.

sorry to derail the original thread but does anyone know if your attached pictures (within a thread) are attached to your name somehow? like, can i search through all the pics that croaker has posted (as opposed to his gallery), for example?

I do not think so. That would be a great modification for the software.

I've been working on the attachments from old threads. There have been over 25 thousand attachments since we started this site.

Apparently you can by searching Gallery (as above) and entering name into "Posted By (Member Name):" search criteria.  Seems to return in order of last posted.

Does that include pictures posted as attachments? I'll have to check that out later.

Here's a test...

No. The attachment above does not show up in the Gallery search because it was not posted from the Gallery.
