little help here?
« on: April 15, 2019, 07:28:55 AM »
Bad day to be a seal...

Wife sent this to me. It was making the rounds on the local whale watching forums. An incredible shot for sure no matter how you feel about the nature scene.

Too bad it is only a harbor seal...  Lots more food value in sea lion...

All's fair in the food chain...… as long as humans stay out of it.     Maybe it's time that these southern Orca pods realize that they need to look beyond Chinook for food..

I thought your whales only ate salmon ?

Like our 10’ baby White Sharks, maybe he’s just playing ??

The northern transient orcas eat seals and other whales. I have seen them hunt Minke whales up near Port McNeill.

Dang, that whale is sure close to the ferry boat.  I got very close to once unknowingly when fishing that PA winter blackmouth derby.  It surfaced probably 50' from my boat, scared the crap out of me on one hand but incredibly awesome to see on the other.
