Of course is one limit per person per day, but if you travel to the San Juan’s for 3 days can you possess 3 daily limits if you shrimp 3 days?

Most regs allow "two limit possession"  However, once processed and in the freezer, it is no longer a "possession' issue --- or so I am told by FG people...

The actual definition of "processed" seems to be about as clear as mud.    Here some ideas:

1)  Completely remove tails, devein, place in a sealed ziplock with the catch date clearly marked on the ziplock....then put on ice in a separate ice chest and stow.
2)  Take a time stamped video with my phone with those on board holding up their right hands and stating.....  "These are the limits of shrimp caught on (Insert Date).  We have processed them for personal use and clearly marked the date caught.  In order to enjoy fresh shrimp, no further processing is possible.  We certify under penalty of perjury that all of this is true.
3) Print out the same statement in item 2 above, have everyone on board sign and place in the bag of processed shrimp.

Ok... so I know all of this sounds silly.... but the chances are that the issue will never become an issue..   If it does become and issue and you needed to go to court to dispute a citation or infraction..... then have everyone on board or involved  sign sworn affidavits affirming all of the above and have these notarized.  Plead not guilty and bring EVERYHING to court.

A judge would probably let you off since it would be a way better case for yourself than any other excuses he is hearing that day as it will sure look like you did everything reasonable to stay in compliance with the law...

If that doesn't work then ask for a jury trial....

If that doesn't work then start talking to news shows with your story and your video and your documents and your affidavits.   The news always likes a good fun story...

If all that doesn't work then sell your boat and get the jumbo frozen shrimp at Costco...

No matter what Costco does...they cannot replicate the delicious glorious fresh spot prawns..which has ruined me on (store/restaurant) shrimp forever.

I'd rather wait all year than eat what passes as shrimp out there...in the real world...

Not sure of  :flag: regs but here in the land of plenty ;-)  It would be two days limit in possession.  "possession" ends when you eat them or get them home.
