1986 Arima 17' SC in Kingston - $9000

Not mine, just saw it on Craigslist and thought I'd pass it along to anyone looking.  Doesn't sound like a bad deal for $9,000.

I saw this, but the reinforced (i'm guessing anyway, based on the pictures) transom with a 130 hanging off the back kinda gave me the wilies... :bigshock:

In addition to having a heavy outboard, it is overpowered if it has the usual USCG label.  This can be a problem during an inspection and also a liability issue if there is an accident.

I did notice the extra bracing or support and was wondering about it as well.  Maybe selling the Honda 130 and going with something smaller like a 90 would be best?

Looks like they raised the transom 5" to accomodate the 25" long shaft Honda.
