HEL EN BACK

My SE boat trailer was damaged by hurricane Florance a few months ago.  Some of my friends pulled the boat on the trailer from the marsh.  In doing so they damaged the trailer jack which I can replace with no problem.  My question is this.  The winch was also damaged and in looking for a replacement I do not know the strap length or strap poundage that I should purchase.  Any help will be appreciated.  Thanks,  Joe

Size of boat ?

A 16' would be approximately 1900 lbs, 17' 2350 lbs
IMO
You should pick a winch with min 3/4 of the rated weight, fuel and gear. (WLL working load limit on the strap)

The strap should be able the reach atleast 3/4 trailer length.
