Seattle Boat Show
« on: January 08, 2018, 07:37:49 AM »
Greetings,

The boat show is just a few weeks away, I know me and Lou are going on Saturday the 27th I believe. Do any others plan on attending?

The first Saturday is usually jammed but that seems when the AO get together happens.

At least this year dates won't conflict with a SeaHawks playoff game.....   :rimshot:

I try to find a day with seminars I want to attend.  TUNA with Tommy Donlin Sun - Weds about 5.

Don’t think I will make the boat show this year too much stuff on my calendar.

My 2 foot-itus will have to wait this year.  I'll hit the Portland show, but I doubt I'll make it up to Seattle.

I remember when Lou and were leaving the last year and I somehow mentioned that it might be OK if we didn't go next year.  Well, I am having 2ND thoughts, especially now since I know where the pro-troll folks hide the donuts.  Our plan is to do the Saturday.

Is there enough interest to have a dinner at Elysian Fields next to the stadium?  If so, if you will raise your hand for how many in your group I will try to get a reservation.  Also, please indicate your preferred date. I'll have better success going on a week night rather than weekend due to my marital situation...

We can also meet at the show and have some beers and food but it would be really hard to get everyone together in one place due to the crowd.

a LARGE part of the fun is meeting fellow Arima Owners and Wannabes.  I've made all the Seattle get togethers, several Portland ones and TWO in Victoria..  ( besides all the lead pours, and Neah Bay)

I was hoping Mooch and others could make the Saturday get together at Elysian.  Much nicer talking around a table than trying to converse while crowd surfing.

If this doesn't take off, I'm leaning toward the PDX Thursday Feb 7 gathering.

Let's see if this can work.

OK, I’m counting Dialo 2, PF 3, atgep 2, mooch 1, Greg 2, me 1 for a total of 11.
Does that sound like a complete list?
