Dungeness Ocean Opener Delay

Oregon Coast closed from Depot Bay South because of Domic Acid and commercial opening delayed until Dec. 16 because of Domic acid and poor meat fill of the shells.

Fortunately it is limited to the coastal regions at this point so Puget Sound is still open.

This is applicable only the ocean commercial fishery.  WDFW has clarified today that the delay here is due to the low meat-fill.  Further South, it's closed due to the toxin.  I think there's some politics involved as well, but that's just speculation.
