Remote Start Switch
« on: October 04, 2017, 06:01:32 PM »
Has anyone rigged up their motors with a remote start switch? Unless I have someone help me flush the motors (I prefer doing it myself) I get tired just getting up and down out of the boat flushing the motors. Both are remote controlled from the helm. It would be nice to be able to flush both motors from the ground. Might save a little bit on the knees.................

Might not work on your boat, but on my SeaSport, I can open the helm window, and reach the ignition switches from outside, while standing on a ladder. Easier than climbing in/out of the boat.

I can reach my main ignition by stepping on the trailer step, have an electric start on the kicker - no problem with running them to flush.

With your situation a remote switch would be the ticket..
