News:

Welcome to the largest gathering of ARIMA boat owners anywhere. We are a forum based gathering of Arima Boat enthusiasts that like to pleasure cruise, fish, camp, and hunt. While Arimas are centered in the PNW, we have members across the globe. It is 3/4's water after all. Lurk, join up, and post about your Arima upgrades, family trips, and of course, your fishing exploits. Just remember to add photos whenever possible.

I was doing 35+ mph briefly, until I looked down and saw that I was burning 18-20 gallons per hour to do it. :bigshock:  I can hit just under 43 mph wide open on flat water with my ocean prop.

Last week I installed a set of used air-ride seats out of a Freightliner, w/ a small on board compressor and tank to air them up.  Incredible how much nicer the ride is, though I may need earplugs so I don't have to listen to those annoying baby screams from my crew.

I miss the Neah fishery and the camaraderie... hopefully the season next year is a little more sane to make the economics pencil out for us Oregonians.

Neah doesn't pencil out for anyone.  But neither do boats or fishing in general.  Or women.

beancounter

We spend a lot of out hard earned money on boats and fishing. The rest we just waste on women and whiskey.

Beancounter had a good head start with the gal at the gas station in Sequim.... It was fun to watch his charm!

I'm not sure what Jimmy has is called "charm".
