Yes, I'm ready to go again.

Salmon don't put up the fight of any of the tuna or jack tuna species but they are just a beautiful fish in my book. They taste great too! It stems from childhood and was a big reason I moved to Oregon 20 years ago. Leaving Oregon still hurts.

I left living on Vancouver Island 35 years ago, and sure miss salmon fishing.  Hope to return again.  Meanwhile fresh water is good for the boat and engines.

I think that's only a 5 pound salmon and your arms are stretched towards the camera. Anybody holding a 30 pound salmon would show strain on their face from holding it up.

Just kidding. That's a FISH!

Danno, Salmon fishing is open in the Delta and Sacramento river. The fishing reports are not very good, but this October it she be great since we have good flows and cool water temps.

Nice fish Todd!

Danno I hear ya!  I love chasing the salmon!!!  Been windy for a month in Bodega except for a few days, the die hards have been out and the bite is pretty good. Work willing and the forecast is promising I should be able to go out Thursday thru Sunday - finally!   I am praying for an ice chest full of Kings!

Nope, the fish just looks a lot larger, even with the perspective difference.
