I have heard you guys talking about smart rails and I have to ask are they really worth the money.  I have an older 87 seachaser, would they make a big enough difference to justify the expense.

in a word...YES! :biggrin:
my opinion..if you want to be dry and have lift from the swells..I believe that All Older Arima's need them and trim tabs... they just make A softer  drier ride...

I would think that you could easlily make your own smart tabs from some other material and glue it on with something a little less destructive than 5200. Maybe 4200?
