Welcome to the largest gathering of Arima boat owners anywhere. We are a forum based gathering of Arima Boat enthusiasts that like to pleasure cruise, fish, camp, and hunt. While Arimas are centered in the PNW, we have members across the globe. It is 3/4's water after all. Lurk, join up, and post about your Arima upgrades, family trips, and of course, your fishing exploits. Just remember to add photos whenever possible.

Shinna and I are visiting our daughter at Travis AFB.  Are there any fishing opportunities close by?  We will be down here till Sunday. Probably go to the city with the daughter on Sat.

Or maybe just a meet up with a fellow owner and a beer?  Always great to meet fellow members.

You will be very near the Delta with hundreds of miles of sloughs, river and backwaters.  This time of year Stripers are the fish to target.  I was out a week ago and saw another Arima near the Antioch bridge so there are a few of us around.  The weather is not great right now but hear Stripers will bite in the rain.

Thanks Ray. Actually shore bound on this trip. Left the boat at home.  I'm checking into about some bank fishing for stripers.

Might head out to the coast and check it out too.

BayWolf, if you ever make it down to the southern end, let us know. I'd make arrangements to get you on some fish.

Perry,
Heading for the coast is a great idea for you & family.  Bodega Bay is easy ride from Travis....possibly catch a ride out for Dungness Crab. It is awsome right now. Not sure about Salmon at Bodega now...they may be making the turn into SF Bay for upriver spawning run.

Otherwise, take the family to San Francisco and enjoy some good food. Keep an eye out for Chuckie in his "Yellow Boa".

No worries Steve, sort of a last minute trip for us. Thank you for the thought.
I heard the area is having an epic crab season here.

JW...you keep getting that wrong....it's not Chuckie's yellow boa....it's Chuckie's Yellow boAT!!  You keep getting your wardrobe mixed up with my boat.  Keep them separate or folks might get my things mixed up with your preferences.

I often have silent thoughts in my head, but sometimes I worry about what they're thinking

Don't know about epic season. I've only been out once so far and hit limits but with 11 traps for 22 keeper crabs ( two went back ) and some luck. I am lazy and just go out under the GG bridge like all the other lazy folks and it's pretty crowded at this time of the year. If the waves are not bad people even do it from paddle boards there !
