Found one.  Seems rather new due to circumstances with owner they are forced to looking at 2018 basically not been used.
Never seen salt.
Yamaha 115 with 9.9 controlled from front electric start.
Hydrolic steering.
Air suspension seats for driver and passenger.
Raymarine finder, radar, and sonar.
Crabbing Davit
VERY clean and shiny new.
Trim tabs
21'.  No drop curtain I can see anywhere
Full hard top
Duel wipers.
Trailers etc.
nothing physically wrong.
Ask is 55k and making sure that's fair.
I've looked at some crappy junker Arimas people are very proud of in low 40's and this one puts those to shame.
Question.  Can you add seats?  There are only two air suspension driver and passenger seats.
Giving me the opportunity to purchase.  I'm assuming I'll love it!'!
55k decent price or keep looking?

Thank you in advance.

amazing grace

A basically new 21 SR hardtop. Seems like a decent price. Down side is the 115hp. Should have a 135/140/150hp. That would push to keep looking. The Hydraulic steering and kicker set up are a plus though. There is only one remedy for an underpowered boat.

Seen it on FB.

Not enough hp for the size.

Congratulations on your findings. I am in the same situation, debating between a 19 or 21 HT, newer or older SR:). Please let me know if you decided not to buy it, I am very interested as well.

Thanks.

The 115 is barely enough hp for my 19. I wouldn't run a 21 in saltwater with one. Maybe in a lake.

a unrelated question: will a 175 engine be able to run a 22 SL?

Not sure, Hunter or GregE would have more insight here. It's a very different hull design than 19 or 21 HT!

I've seen SL's with 150hp and  think they are under-powered.     I think the sweet spot is probably 200 to 225 with a 250 being more than adequate but a lot of fun and HP when you need it.    Remember that these SL's are a wide load also have a 106 gallon fuel tank...    If it's a hardtop, that also adds some substantial weight..   WEDOCQ is the guy to talk about the Suzi 175...

:yeahthat:  I posted on the 22SL thread.  175 could work in the sound, lakes and with light loads.  Mine have had 200 and 225 that work well

So hard to pass up this boat.  Is 115 really that much of a mistake?  Anyone in the market for a 115 and I could put down that money towards a 200! :)

Hunter

Any pics...   Is this 2018 the forward slant HT?

I'm looking at re-powering very soon. Was looking at the 115 Yami or 140 Suzuki. I would be interested.

Call me.  206-300-5921.  Motor is essentially new.  I'd buy the boat and we could meet at the place where I pick up my new 200.

Why 200???  That is the max HP for the 21 but 140- 150- 175 are great matches.  the 21's longer hull makes it very efficient

Because I can I guess..  Why not?

Bigfish1!

Buy the boat!.  Unless you need to race every one on the water the 115 will push it around just fine!  The fish are waiting, don't over think this, get the boat and go.  BF1

Here's a couple pics of the boat I'm looking at.
40 gallon tank is why maybe they put a 115 on it?  I don't know.

Seeing it in person tonight.

AP

Beautiful, clean boat!  I'd need more power but if you have the patience and $ to swap it out for something bigger, even down the road, I'd do it!  Anyone know if the hardtop braces were an option for the forward-slanting tops?

Markshoreline

I'd give it a try before replacing the fresh water only motors.  Everyone I've talked to who have a 115 on a 21 seem to be okay with them and don't see a problem.  I would certainly try it before taking on a $15+k motor!

For sure.  Went to see her tonight and looks very clean.  We are taking it out tomorrow or Thursday to see how the 115 pushes.

I can tell she's been outside and they put a lot of work in cleaning her up.  Regardless she looks brand new other than a few spots on the bottom (dirty) If it were mine it wouldn't be that clean haha.

No hour meter?  Couldn't find it and the electronics Raymarine Axium w/ radar and sonar/gps don't show either..

Has anyone added any seats?  I know coolers work well :)  Just wondering.

Also, says a 40 gallon tank - are installing additional gas tanks (saddle tanks) a big deal?  Or just take along a 20 gallon gas jug.

They have the drop curtain and two scotty downs with Electric Crab Davit.

I've never seen those types of seats either.  Shock absorbing... yes please.

Markshoreline

Every post 1990 19 i've seen has a 48 gallon tank.  Saddle tanks are no longer available new.
The factory sells rear seats that fit in the corners- I never used them so sold the parts a year ago.
Sounds like a great boat!

Yes I have never seen "40", only 48.

It does have the rear corner seats. Forgot about those..

After talking to the family it appears the original buyer went with the recommended 115 for fuel economy. He purchased it new, fished twice, got cancer and passed.  It has been sitting ever since.

53K before taxes.  Seem okay?

Markshoreline

Probably worth it being so new but the 115 will be at a discount over a 150.  Sounds like a beautiful boat!

Get confirmation that the outboard(s) are still under warranty. They should be but maybe close to dropping out. Having a warranty is a bit of worry reducer. I think at that price, it's worth getting a shop to read the codes and get the hours from the two outboards. If all you want to do is see the hours, buy a NMEA 2000 network interface cable and backbone and hook it up temporarily. You'll want to invest in one anyway.

Saddle tanks are no longer available from the factory but on rare occasion come up for sale here. Read some of the recent threads on custom belly tanks for a possible solution. You'll only need more fuel capacity if you're chasing tuna out 50 miles off the coast.
