Garage Power Tip of the Day

For those of you that have an electric garage door opener (most everyone) I'll bet for most of you there's a duplex outlet right there in the ceiling and that one side of that duplex is doing absolutely nothing.  So if you want tangle and tripping free power to your boat or anything else in your garage.....just install an electric cord reel.  I got this one at Costco for $39 a couple years ago.  I use primarily for battery tender power.

Viola....no more tripping or pulling out a cord.  Easy, retractable, out of the way power source for the center of your garaqe.

That's one of the many reasons I love my wee boat. Tucked away in the warmth and nobody knows it's there.
