hmmm,  knowing Bean Counter's Arima sniffing capability this one will be worth checking out.  He finds used Arimas needing a home, checks them over and provides transport back to the motherland.

Only 1 used 21' for sale in the entire country right now, as best as I can tell.

With the economy picking up and the Arima demand sky high, it will be a sellers market for a while.

But I thought Alaska was awarded statehood!   

Technically, Beancounter's isn't on the market till after Neah.  Just the Alaska boat for sale right now!

I'm here in kodiak island and I looked at this boat yesterday with my own eyes. Very good condition. I'll try and post some pictures I got yesterday. Over all the boat looks clean. He lowered the price to $25k. One question, right next to the bilge plug in the bottom of the transom, there's this plastic basket looking thing which I believe is the pick up hole for wash down. Did it come from factory plastic or was it metal? Not sure if this is what the other owner posted here lately about being dissimilar metal that corroded. Anyway boat looks clean, comes with lots of equipment. Rubber rail guard all the way around is sealed pretty good. Still has cable steering.

It's the 130 Honda that turns me off a bit!! Hmmm time to research!!

That is a raw water pickup, either for a washdown or bait tank.  Many boats have those from the factory, or as a dealer installed option.  It's a standard Rule part.

Those 130's can be very durable if all the updates were done.  I sound like a broken record, but I know of one in the Oregon Tuna! fleet that had 2500 hours on it when the Ed Wing it was on was finally repowered with a new Honda 150.  The old 130 went on another boat, and now has another 1000 hours or so on it.  No rebuilds, uses a little oil now but otherwise runs like a top.

Threeweight, thanks for good info. We should all call u 5weight as you're always full of good info and advise. Anyway, going for test drive today. This will be the make or brake time. I also got the motor s/n and called Honda marine USA. Lady on the other side informed me that the engine block and fuel pump "product update" aka recall was done in 2003. Little peace of mind but still a sea trial will dictate the decision. Thanks for all your help. What is a reasonable offer if price listed is $25k? I just can't wrap my head around a used 15 yr old boat that cost that much. Anyway, thanks again.

That boat is a HT right. With a good Honda his asking price is pretty attractive. Where it is might give you a bit of wiggle room. Is there a trailer? I think you are almost there

Yes it comes with dual axle trailer. Not really sure if it's the location is why it's been on popyatch, craigslists, and other sites for sale for long time or what but I'll make my offer tomorrow and see it that works out.
