If you fish the ocean, it is important to think about how your boat name will sound when called out on the radio.
On another forum, a guy was very proud to show off his new boat, which he had named "Fillet Show".
When it was pointed out to him how that name would sound pronounced as one word and slightly garbled on the radio, he started looking for a new name.

I guess I should have screened these a little better. My apologies if anyone was offended...
Offended??? C'mon...I thought they were great!! Lose your wallet, car keys, glasses or the remote, but Never lose your sense of humor. You might want to name this particular thread....the "OFF FENDER"

Those are all great! Thanks for sharing.
Some great names there !!!
I like the "boobie bouncer" !! If I decide to really dig into this single life and trade GoodDays in for a Donzi, that will definitely be the name !!
GoodDays Greg !!

You bring up a good point. We named our Arima "Maddy A" after our granddaughter. It was only later that I realized that the name said rapidly sounded like Mayday.
The solution was the add 'The" in front of the name and say it quite slowly.
One of those unintended consequences that come back to bite you.

A few years back I saw a boat in Barkley Sound. It was a 27' Sea Sport or Ocean Sport something like that I don't remember, but it had everything you could want from trailer to radar, 4 downriggers, everything. The boat name was Chunk A Change.
I am wondering if AlAdams is tryin to name his rig?
Something J Doo Dad said keeps sticking in my mind. "Glued & Screwed".
Al...we are here for you bud!

... but "Superdong" may make you more appealing to the ladies.
How come the ex-wives guy has two names that aren't "X'd" out? The future ex, and the next future ex? He could have just gone with "Playa."
Girlfriend #1 and #2... maybe undecided as to which he will marry next.
I've thought about "Sea Nile" but I'm sure it's been taken by someone. Or, how about "Arimaderchi"?
I like "SEA NILE"...don't think anyone here is using it, but I can't r-e-m-e-m-b-e-r!
