I am curious is anyone has any experience with a fabricator that can make a fixed kicker bracket for my 9.9 yamaha. I did contact Salt Boss and ordered my bracket nearly two months ago but I have not been able to get any responses from them (email/phone) and I am about to give up. I know Brook is on Arima Owners and I am sure he and his company do good work based on the feedback I have seen here. Unless Salt Boss Marine has fallen off the face of the earth what is a brother supposed to do? Is it me? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Josh
I went and bought mine at Arima last week.

Or call Sherwood Marine in Victoria, they had them in stock when I needed one for my SR recently. Well built. BITE-ME brand. Angled to fit sponsoon perfect. holds my 9.9 perfect.
I have heard Brook/Saltboss may be having some health problems ... hope all is well.
I heard he is scheduled to see a member this week.

Fixed brackets with no moving parts are the way to go!
There are a couple of manufacturers in BC who make aluminum brackets. Wyrguy has contact info for the mfr. of his unit.
In Oregon there's Allen Marine 503-399-1161- Those are stainless steel.

The Arima factory model is fiberglass and is beautiful but very $$$$$.
Finally, our own VXHatch has plans somewhere to make one yourself but the old site he had posted them to went down. Maybe he would be willing to share by jpg?
And of course, SaltBoss. That's the one I went with at the early design stage. Those units are semi-custom to your boat, motor shaft length and your boat's hole configuration and yes there's an array among Arimas. It's also the only model I know with a locking mechanism.
So, you have choices!
Allen Marine is no longer in business, the last time i called that # i got a realator trying to sell the building. I heard Brad passed away about a year ago. My boat does have his bracket, if you want some measurements & a picture or two pm me.

Really sorry to hear that, both for the family and the boating community....
