This connector came with my Garmin chart plotter. I'd like to buy a few more. Anybody have a type or source?

Deutsch maybe (that's what came with my lencos)? What does the other side look like?

Same connector for panther steering and I believe commonly used by chevy... at least in the 90s.
Looks like Deutsch to me.

Maybe made by Weather Pack terminals which you can find on some cars. I used them on my bait tank pumps for a quick swap out at sea if I had a fail. I did buy the crimper to be able to make them proper.

Those are all black. Not that I care about the color but none of those are a match. I would actually prefer black for UV resistance.
Similarly, Deutsch (now TE Connectivity) connectors are gray and made from FR nylon. I used to be a supplier to Deutsch. I'll have to take time to look through the TE catalogue.
The only idea of having similar connectors throughout the boat s very appealing.

I'm no rocket surgeon....... but wouldn't white be better for UV resistance since it's more reflective than absorbent?

Me neither, but I know PVC pipe won't stand up to sunlight but ABS will.

Light (UV) can penetrate the surface of uncolored red plastic and breakdown the polymer. Having a black pigment blocks the UV at the surface so although you might get some chalking on the surface, the polymer underneath is untouched by UV.
