Title: Want to Split 6/2 AWG Wire Cost?
Post by: ponche on September 16, 2016, 04:56:04 PM
I'm adding an add-a-battery to my boat and am looking at different wire purchase options. In case you don't know, WOW, boat wiring is EXPENSIVE. Soo...

I'm trying to find someone who wants to split a 25' roll of Ancor 6/2 AWG Duplex Tinned Marine Wire. Gregs Marine Wire Supply has it for $70 for 25'. I need about 1/2 of it, so for $35 you can get 12.5 feet of wire. West Marine would charge you $63! In case your not familiar, Duplex wiring comes with a pair (red/black) of conductors house within one insulated jacket. If you don't want the wires encased in the jacket, you can cut the two wires out and use them individually.

Send me a PM if your interested. I'm wanting to do this ASAP.

They also sell it for $2.84 per foot in case you don't want to bother with a whole roll and trying to sell the remainder.  They will also terminate it with whatever connection you want which is a better option than doing it yourself unless you have the right tool.  Good luck!
