I've seen a few different Airmar Thru-Hull install threads here and have seen a 12° and 20° tilt.

Does anyone know with any degree of certainty which degree transducer to use on a 21 SR?

Thanks Brat, that sounds right -- found this on the Airmar website

The B175HW is available in three Tilted Element models:

Fixed 20° tilted version for 16 to 24° hull deadrise angles
Fixed 12° tilted version for 8 to 15° hull deadrise angles
Fixed 0° tilted version for 0 to 7° hull deadrise angles
