Hey guys...Good Morning!
My outboard has manual tilt and with my surgery last year it's still pretty tough for me to tilt the motor up when launching and recovering.
So I'm looking for one of those tilt arm thingy's that clamps onto the motor cover and provides some leverage.
I haven't seen one for quite some time and I don't even remember exactly what they were called. But I'm hoping someone on here knows or even has one they no longer need.
Thanks to all!,
Tight lines and Full Pots!
Surprised you haven't invented and built a better one.
As dumb as the name sounds, they were called the "Garelick motor tilter". Haven't seen one in forever.
I'm assuming they're discontinued by Garelick - lots of images online, and still appear in e-commerce sites, but always listed as "unavailable", nothing on eBay. This one might work for you ,depending on the shape of your engine cowling:

If you run a Scotty pot puller just put a pulley in front of the motor well and pull it like using a winch on a jeep
