So in preperation of a repower of my lil SE The mid eighties Merc 70hp and control were removed. Great runner. Great comp 128/130-128. Good lower unit and spark. No power trim or tilt.
Money is going towards the repower so do not want to give it away. But know it is not worth a ton. Any thoughts. Round here lots of boats that could use a decent motor and not break the bank. Just want to be fair and apply what I get to the huge :bigshock: bill for the repower.
1500 would be a fair price imo a little high but not gouging
I bought a Suzuki dt85 for 900 a Suzuki dt40 for 1100 and a Johnson 40 for 700
These were "deals" so that's where I'm coming up with your price
