Lowrance Radar Install Help

Installing a Halo 20+ radar and connecting to a HDS Carbon. 

I can't seem to get the HDS to see the radar?   There's an indicator light on the radar that flashes trouble codes and it's saying it can't see the HDS.

The radar to HDS connection is via Ethernet plug. 

Anyone have any ideas?

Garmin guy here, but first thing I'd check is system software and hardware compatibility.  Does HDS Carbon need software update?  Does HDS Carbon support Halo?  Website states radar compatibility as 4G and 3G.  Good luck.

Maybe you need 3G/4G adaptor?

Have you done the latest update? As there is a software update on the flashing light not working properly.

I had a year of trouble getting my radar and carbon to be happy. One update fixed everything and it has been rock solid for the past year.  Check for updates and dont expect much from tech support. its a lowrance thing.

I already agree about the tech support issue.  They're sending me a new Ethernet cable.  Hopefully that's the issue.  I have the most recent software update.  Thx for the suggestions.
