Aj where did you find that cleaner ?
Online ?
I've seen spray nine for household stuff but didn't know they made marine stuff

I bought it on Amazon. It's great stuff, well worth it.

Can you use it on deck stains and up on the inner sides of the boat, you know, that really rough, hard to clean stuff?

I find no difference they just charge you more! Best bet is to buy it in the gallon jugs and fill your spray bottles.

I did try the regular Spray Nine and the Marine Spray Nine and I got similar results.
But from my understanding is the marine version cleans yellowing, and brightens and protects the vinyl too, along with other benefits. :shrug9:
But I am curious and I emailed the manufacturer to see if there really is a difference. It'll be interesting to see if they get back to me or just BS me :jester:
Anyway cleaned both of my seats and you can see the white on the forward seats almosts matches my back seats, which I had made over last year.
Wish I had thought ahead and took a before picture because they were dingy gray looking.

You are 100% correct Tom ! Save your pennies and buy the regular formula.

This is the email I got back form Spray Nine, which I was suprised to get a response, and an honest one at that.

"Thanks for the support and yes Spray Nine regular formula and Spray Nine Marine are the same formula. They are titled and priced differently as they are sold in two separate markets."

So lesson learned :fishing:

I bought a gallon of the marine formula already! jeez, I could have saved a few bucks! then again after using it I should have tried Formula 409 first as this stuff seems to be about the same as 409! Itgot my seats cleaner than they were but not " amazingly" clean.

Wow, remarkable honesty from the Spray 9 company.  I'd expect they'd add one additional chemical to make the Marine different to justify the price change but no, it's the same stuff...

Troll4fish if you bought a gallon, you actually broke even or saved money Vs the regular Spray 9.
There's 128 oz in that gallon, which breaks down to 4, 32oz bottles at a cost of $4.25 per bottle, if you bought it on Amazon.
I spent $15 for one 32oz bottle, wish I would have got the gallon

@Mark, my thoughts exactly.
I replied back to them with my "thoughts", no reply yet :jester:

I've seen spray 9 at home depot in the cleaning section... never priced it or looked for gallon size, though.

Can that spray nine cleaner be used on the hull without dulling the shiny gel coat? Not the whole hull, just the random smudges or grease spots :shrug9: I want to clean up any smudges that regular boat wash won't remove before I do the yearly hand waxing. (I'm really looking forward to that) I just got some on Amazon

First off Fisher, did you get the regular Spray Nine or the Marine? I hope it's the regular.

Anyway I've use it with a terrycloth to remove smudges off of my hull and rails and I haven't seen any dulling. To be safe, I would spot check it though before moving forward.
