Got a 25% coupon for harbor freight and thinking about a jump pack. Are any of you guys carrying one in your truck or boat. I see a 630 amp for 89.99 and a 1700 amp for 199.99. What do you think or are there better alternatives? Both of these models have an air compressor feature also.

No experience with Harbor Freight packs but I keep a dewalt 1400 amp jump pack in my truck. IIRC it cost about $150 from Home Depot. Has an air compressor, some decent work lights, an alternator testing mode, and 2 usb ports. I've only needed to jump my 7.3 once and some excavators but it had more than enough juice to do it. It's a bit slow airing up tires to 70, but it still gets it done. I've heard good things about NOCO too but they don't have compressors and I couldn't find one in my budget that could handle the diesel well.

I have a NOCO GB150 that I purchased from Amazon back in 2019...  It'll basically start anything including my Diesel truck, excavator, etc...  When I purchased mine back in 2019 it was $169.

As far a a portable compressor goes, I don't have one of feel the need on the boat.  For the truck I have a small 12 unit that works......but mostly just keep a 3000psi 19CF Scuba tank and regulator with LP hose adaptor for any tire filling needs..

I bought a Dewalt 1600 amp jump box with air compressor from HD. Read a bunch of bad reviews on it so my confidence sunk and I returned it. I came close to buying the Clore automotive Jump N Carry with compressor.

Wound up buying NOCO GB150 on Amazon, now $300. I'll keep packing my decade old Viair 400p for air.

My coupon expired while I was thinking about it. So guess I will think about it.

I've purchased the NOCO GB150 in 2019 as well. So far, I've used it to jump other people's cars. I didn't realize I could use it on the boat as well. I'll carry it on my boat now.
