| Description: My pump says it will lift 8 ft and I started with a 6 ft intake hose. I ran the hose through the starboard motor well and down the transom. I plan to cut off approx 18" of the intake hose and put a fitting with a screen on the end of the hose so that it will be flush with the bottom of my hull. I will then clamp the intake to the transom. I need to still find a threaded screen fitting that they do make for thru-hull fittings for live well pumps.
