And it's a 2-1/2 hour drive to go 38 miles with tolls up the 91 fwy to get to the bullet train.

So, there's a good reason to buy a beat-up old Arima for less than $10,000, add a new trailer for less than $10,000, and add an outboard for less than $10,000.

I think it is wrong to charge property tax on a rented slip.

Another closed Ruby's... Crazy to think it was almost 8 years ago, May 20th, when Ruby's burned down on the Seal Beach pier.

This might be a good time for Huntington and more so Malibu to check out those old Ruby's buildings for bad electrical systems.

Since we're off-topic while we await pics of Croaker's new motor.  This reminds me of an interesting discussion that I had with a WA state electrical inspector many years ago....

He was telling me about an empty/abandoned building that had recently burned down (in Bellingham, for those familiar with the area).  The fire investigators went in, did their thing, and blamed it on "electrical".  The problem with their "blame" came to light when it was discovered that the power company had disconnected all electrical to the building almost 6 months prior.  In other words, it turned out to be a case of....We don't really know what caused the fire.  So, it must have been electrical.  Or, at least, that's what we're going to publish because we can't say those words that all men find so hard to say: "I don't know".

Sweet! That white looks sharp. It'll be interesting to see what, if any, performance difference there is between the Evinrude and the Suzuki.

    Looks great Croaker. Love the white against that hull. Also love the "high-up" location of your rigging.....smart.  One thing I'd be interested in seeing is how the cav plate sits in relation to the bottom. Looking forward to some performance numbers, as well.   Have fun.
