So, the new Lowrance comes pretty-well equipped for my local use in Puget Sound, Columbia River, San Juan's, even near-shore Ocean and Straits.  However, Canada is "blurry."  I will not be able to use it as-is for my trip to Nootka in July.  I see the Navionics 2XG Gold "Chip" covers all of Canada, PLUS all the typical areas I plan to use my boat.

Does anyone else use the 2XG chip?  Does it do everything that you'd like?  Would you prefer something different?

Thanks!

I use the 913 P+ Vancouver Island. If you look at the coverage, it also covers all of Puget Sound. So while at Nootka the 913 is installed in the NSS8 which shares the charts over ethernet with the NSS7. I have a Gold card for Western Canada and Alaska that goes in the HDS8. Back at home I have a P+ chart for Puget Sound in the NSS8 and the 913 goes in the HDS8.
